Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Hybrid Attorney Partner in Employment Defense to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law, a proven track record in employment litigation defense, and the ability to provide strategic legal counsel to our clients. This role is integral in managing cases and leading a team of attorneys to achieve favorable outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage employment litigation cases from inception to resolution.
- Provide expert legal guidance on employment law matters to clients.
- Develop and implement defense strategies for employment-related claims.
- Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and tailor legal strategies to meet their needs.
- Stay updated on changes in employment law and regulations, particularly in California.
- Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California Bar Association.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in employment litigation defense. PAGA.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and California labor standards.
- Experience with EEOC procedures and litigation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
